Recycling

University hospital Radboud UMC starts recycling diapers and uses DiaperChamp for hygienic and odourless storage.

By starting to collect the diapers, the Dutch Amalia Children’s Hospital is helping to achieve the sustainability objectives of the Radboud University Hospital.

The collected diapers are brought to the waste energy plant of the ARN in Weurt (close to Nijmegen)

From the diapers new plastic products are made such as automotive parts and street furniture and from urine and stool energy is gained. A win-win situation!
